Our team combines structural repair experience with basement water-management knowledge. The same three people who shape our recommendations also stay closely involved in how projects are planned and completed.
Daniel grew up in the Pittsburgh area and began his trade career doing residential masonry and foundation work around Allegheny County. He is especially interested in older Pittsburgh basements and keeps a notebook of unusual wall and drainage conditions he encounters on jobs. Outside work, he spends weekends restoring an older house and following Pittsburgh hockey.
Marcus coordinates structural repair projects and has a particular eye for block-wall movement and the small alignment changes that can help explain how a wall is behaving. He lives north of the city and is the team member most likely to arrive with an organized tool setup and a thermos of coffee. In his spare time, he fishes western Pennsylvania rivers and helps family members with renovation projects.
Erin focuses on basement water patterns, interior drainage, sump systems and the way exterior grade affects groundwater around a home. She became interested in drainage after working on renovation projects where finished basements repeatedly took on water during heavy rain. She lives in the South Hills and spends free weekends on local trails with her dog, Maeve.
We start by listening to what the homeowner has noticed. That history matters because a crack that appeared last week is different from one that has looked the same for twenty years. We then evaluate the visible foundation, basement conditions and property drainage and explain how those pieces may fit together.
When work is recommended, we keep the scope tied to the problem. Structural repairs are planned around stability and movement, while drainage and waterproofing work are designed around the observed water path. If a home has both issues, Daniel, Marcus and Erin coordinate the plan so the repairs support one another instead of becoming separate fixes.
